A finished surprise
You already know the exact wording, the motif, the place and the format you want. The sign is completed, delivered packed and ready to be given.
A gifted commission
You give the commission itself. Wording, motif and format are agreed by the couple with the atelier after the wedding — useful when the name or the place is still open.
What the sign can carry.
The family name, both first names, the house number, a short date or a short line of text. The motif can come from the house, the garden, an animal or the place itself.
Fewer elements usually stay more legible in enamel, because every line is fired into the surface rather than painted on top. What works in a given format is resolved in the design.
Enquire in good time before the wedding.
Design, revision, making and several firings all take time, so please enquire early. The binding date is confirmed by the atelier only in the individual quotation.
Availability
Next place in the atelier
We usually allow around four weeks for making after design approval. Packing and insured shipping follow. Šimona confirms the exact timing personally; waiting for your input or approval pauses the schedule. With the quotation, we confirm the genuinely available atelier month. The delivery date is agreed individually.
What we need for a first assessment.
- The exact wording, with spelling and the order of the lines.
- The relationship to the place: house, flat, garden or entrance.
- Any photographs of the place or the motif you already have.
- An approximate format and the date you are working towards.
